Dr. william yu

Director

Dr. William Yu is an accomplished energy economist and sustainability expert with over 20 years of experience in climate strategy, ESG, and sustainable development. He is the Founder & CEO of the World Green Organisation and Director at Cantabrigian Consulting, leading cross-sector advisory projects on ESG disclosure, green finance, and carbon neutrality.

Dr. Yu holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge, an Executive MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and executive credentials from Harvard and Cambridge in sustainable finance and nonprofit strategy. He serves as a registered consultant to the Asian Development Bank and a task force member of the UN ESCAP, while also advising the HKSAR Government through various statutory bodies on environment, planning, and carbon neutrality.

He is a Certified China Carbon Trader and an Accredited Trainer of the UNDP’s SDG Impact Standards. Dr. Yu mentors green tech startups at HKSTP and Cyberport, leads ESG accelerator programs, and supervises doctoral research on ESG reporting as Director of Studies at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. He advises global financial institutions on carbon markets, climate risk, and forestry-related investments, and serves on committees with HKGFA and A4CR. A respected thought leader, he has spoken at the UN, Bloomberg, The Economist, and the Financial Times.

Dr. Angus yip

Partner Consultant

Dr. Angus Yip has been a veteran corporate banker (trade finance and syndication) and Asset Manager for over 30 years. He is a Chartered Banker (U.K.) and Certified Banker (Hong Kong). Since 2015, he started providing ESG reporting consultancy services to listed companies in Hong Kong. Dr. Yip used to work with a sizable private equity fund for the ESG performance of its portfolio companies. Angus is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Wales TSD with a research area in ESG reporting.

Angus was educated in the U.K. and received double Master's Degrees from the University of Cambridge (Sustainability Leadership) and Lancaster University (Accounting & Finance), respectively. He has also obtained a Professional Postgraduate Certificate in “Corporate Sustainability & Innovation” and a Master's Degree in Management from Harvard University. Angus is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Hong Kong SPACE and was awarded “Outstanding Teacher” at HKU SPACE in 2017.

ms. Vivien Soo

Senior Project Manager

Ms. Vivien Soo brings over 20 years of professional experience in Hong Kong, with a strong focus on investor relations and regional business development across Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Malaysia. She previously served as Executive Secretary at the Bank of China, where she played a key role in the re-establishment of the Kuala Lumpur branch, and has held senior management positions in several listed companies, including Senior Marketing Executive at Mieco International (HK) Ltd, overseeing multinational and world-leading OEM products.

Ms. Soo has accumulated extensive regional management experience through her work with multinational corporations and financial institutions. In recent years, she has developed over five years of hands-on experience in business development within the Green Technology sector, and currently collaborates with a waste management company with a focus on promoting indirect employment and value creation within the green economy. Her cross-border expertise and practical industry exposure enable her to bridge commercial strategy, sustainability, and regional market execution effectively.

Dr. Mike hui

Partner Consultant

Dr. Mike Hui is a seasoned finance professional and educator with deep expertise in sustainable finance and investment strategies. He holds a Master of Science in Finance from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and is a CFA charterholder. Dr. Hui earned his Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, focusing his research on ESG investments.

Currently an Adjunct Lecturer at HKU SPACE, Dr. Hui was recognized with the 2019 Outstanding Teacher Award. He combines academic insight with decades of practical experience in banking and finance to deliver impactful, real-world financial education and consulting.

ms. natalie lee

Partner Consultant

Ms. Natalie Lee is a Partner Consultant at Cantabrigian Consulting Limited with extensive experience in strategic planning, ESG advisory, carbon management, and circular economy policy. She advises corporations on sustainability strategy, ESG governance, carbon auditing, and sustainability reporting.

A Certified Carbon Auditor and Certified ESG Planner (CEP), Natalie has led carbon audit projects for multinational corporations, NGOs, and institutional clients, and has supported products in obtaining International Carbon Neutrality Certificates through Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs), carbon management plans, and verification processes. She holds internationally recognised certifications in ISO 14067 (Carbon Footprint of Products) and ISO 14064 (Organisational GHG Accounting), and is a member of the Hong Kong Institution of Certified Auditors (HKICA) and the Corporate Governance Institution.

Natalie has completed executive education in Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies at the University of Cambridge and currently advises the Hong Kong Institute of Circular Economy (HKICE) on professional qualifications in circular economy and ESG planning.

With a strong background in stakeholder engagement and senior management advisory, she supports organisations in establishing ESG governance frameworks, carbon neutrality pathways, and long-term sustainability strategies.

Research Consultant

Ms. Cherry Ng is a Research Consultant at Cantabrigian Consulting Limited, a leading professional consultancy specializing in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) solutions.

Certified as an ESG Planner (CEP®), Ms. Ng holds an Advanced Executive Diploma in ESG Strategy and Innovation for Net Zero. She also has an Impact Measurement & Management for the SDGs certification from Duke University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Sussex.

With excellent research skills, Ms. Ng excels at conducting in-depth analyses to identify ESG-related risks and opportunities. She has participated in and assisted with training and advisory services for listed companies, international corporations, and beyond. Dedicated to driving sustainable business transformation, she is a passionate advocate for aligning corporate objectives with ESG priorities. Certified as an ESG Planner (CEP®), Mr. Luke holds an Advanced Executive Diploma in ESG Strategy and Innovation for Net Zero. Mr. Luke earned his Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Management from the University of California, Davis.

mr. ZAYNE YI

Sustainability Consultant

Mr. Zayne Yi is a Sustainability Consultant at Cantabrigian Consulting Limited, specialising in sustainable investing, climate risk valuation, and ESG integration. He supports clients in applying financial and analytical frameworks to sustainability challenges, with a particular focus on the intersection of climate risk, capital allocation, and enterprise decision-making.

Zayne holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance (First Class Honours) from Bangor University, an MSc in Professional Accountancy from the University of London, and an MSc in ESG and Sustainability (First Class Honours) from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is professionally qualified with ACCA, CFA Certificate in ESG Investing and CFA Certificate in Climate Risk, Valuation and Investing, providing him with a strong foundation in both financial analysis and sustainability frameworks.

He has contributed to ESG consulting and investment-related projects for multinational and institutional clients, including experience supporting ESG assessment and analysis for ArcelorMittal and renewable energy procurement research and advisory for HSBC. Zayne’s work combines rigorous financial analysis with sustainability and climate considerations, enabling organisations to better understand risk, opportunity, and long-term value creation in the context of the low-carbon transition.
